On this trip you will not only cross off the Taj Mahal but you will also participate in one of the Worlds best celebrations/a bucket list item for any World traveler, Holi Festival!
Holi festival also know as "the festival of colors" or "the festival of love", celebrates the end of winter and the victory of good over evil. It takes place between late February and mid-March and lasts for one night (known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi) and the following day (Holi).
This trip is hosted by Sisters Traveling Solo LLC. Please note that you must be a member of our paid membership program or our Facebook group to join this trip. Membership will be verified after booking. Our trips are 21 years and up at the time of departure.

Tentative Itinerary
DAY 01 - MAR. 25, 2021 - ARRIVAL
Upon arrival into Delhi, you will be transported via one of our group transfer times to our hotel. After check-in, take the rest of the afternoon at leisure rewinding from the long flight.
DAY 02 - MAR. 26, 2021 - JAIPUR
Today after breakfast, we depart for Jaipur, a (5) hour drive (there will be stops) from Delhi. In the Afternoon arrive at Jaipur and check into our hotel. After checking in we will go shopping for our traditional outfits.
Later this evening we will get together for welcome dinner.

DAY 03 - MAR. 27, 2021 - JAIPUR
On day 4, after breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created Jaipur.
We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. After visiting Amber fort visit down town Step well as known as panna meena kund and also get a chance to visit famous Gaitor.

DAY 04 - MAR. 28, 2021 - JAIPUR
Today after breakfast we drive to pink city and we will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. The windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen.
In the afternoon we visit the City Palace that is still the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the City Palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur Maharajas. We continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, and the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments reveal us the secrets of medieval Indian astronomy.
Later we have a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur. In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white marble.

DAY 05 - MAR. 29, 2021 - JAIPUR - HOLI CELEBRATION
Happy Holi Celebration! The day you were waiting for since the beginning of the tour has arrived.
Take your time getting out of bed this morning. In the afternoon we head to our site to celebrate Holi! We will have lunch on site of Holi Celebration.
Enjoy the festivities of Holi on this day like everyone around you. It is a festival of colors in which families, friends, neighbors come together and celebrate by throwing colors on each other and eat sweets and drink ‘thandai.’ After the exhausting fun filled day Morning.

DAY 06 - MAR. 30, 2021 - AGRA - TAJ MAHAL
Today after breakfast we drive to Agra, this is a (4) hour drive from Jaipur.
After checking into our hotel we will visit of Agra Fort. gra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before capture by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas. In 1983, the Agra fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Important: We will ascend to the top of the fort by Elephant. If you are not comfortable with riding an elephant this trip will not be ideal for you.

DAY 07 - MAR. 31, 2021 - AGRA - TAJ MAHAL - DELHI
This day we will wake up early and get dressed in our traditional attire before heading to the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a beautiful white marble mausoleum in the city of Agra, India. It is widely considered to be one of the greatest architectural masterpieces in the world and is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Once our visit to the Taj Mahal is over we will head back to the hotel for lunch and change clothes. We then will proceed back to Delhi. After hotel check in we will meet at as group to enjoy our farewell dinner.

DAY 08 - APR. 1, 2021 - DELHI
On our final day, we will enjoy breakfast and begin to depart back home via one of our group transfers.
