BRAZIL
OCT. 2 -7, 2021
Trip Overview
PAYMENTS WON'T START UNTIL OCTOBER 2020!
Sensuality, dancing, and partying: it seems the Brazilians have made a science of all that is fun in life. Brazil is known as one of the most diverse countries in Latin America, not to mention the continent's only former Portuguese colony. One of the largest countries in the world, Brazil, certainly has plenty to see!
Incredible Views. For wide, open viewpoints that offer views of lakes, tropical forests, golden coastlines, and a sprawling city, there are few places in the world better to go to than Rio de Janeiro. The rocky peaks afford great viewpoints from Christ the Redeemer and the Sugarloaf mountain
This trip is hosted by Sisters Traveling Solo LLC. Please note that you must be a member of our paid membership program or our Facebook group to join this trip. Membership will be verified after booking. Our trips are 21 years and up at the time of departure.

Tour Highlights

CHRIS THE REDEEMER
Towering 2,310 feet above the city of Rio, the Christ the Redeemer statue has fascinated experts and historians for nearly a hundred years.
It’s the 4th largest statue of Jesus Christ in the world, the largest Art Deco-style sculpture on the planet, and to top it all off, in 2007 the statue was deemed as one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

SUGARLOAF
Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Rising 396 m above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar.

SELARON STEPS
Escadaria Selarón, also known as the 'Selaron Steps', is a set of world-famous steps in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They are the work of Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón who claimed it as "my tribute to the Brazilian people"
