Join Sisters Traveling Solo as we head to the vineyards in Napa Valley.  On this trip you won't only enjoy (2) black owned, and (2) Hispanic owned wineries, but you also get to enjoy the sights of San Francisco as you bring in the 4th of July! 

Trip Passwords can be accessed ONLY by current Facebook group members.  Passwords will not be emailed. Membership is confirmed once deposit is received; non members are refunded immediately.

— Cost   

 

$2,195* per person for Double occupancy; two people per room 

$2,795* per person for Single occupancy; one person per room

*Includes:  4 Star Accommodations, Activities*, Tours, Meals*, Airport Transfers, Local Transportation to Activities. Note: Members will be free the evening of the 4th after or 5 pm event show, to enjoy dinner and fireworks at their leisure.

$240 per person (Double occupancy) 8 monthly payments on the 15th

*Payments are due on the 15th of each month regardless of when deposit is received.  If deposit is received August 4th, the 1st payment is due August 15th.

— Roommates  

 

Double rooms will be shared; 2 members per room.  If there is a member you would like to room with let us know.  If you do not have a roommate, don't worry, we will match you up with another Sister.

All your travel needs will e handled from the moment you land.  We handle airport transfers, tours, local transportation, accommodation needs, and connect you with other Sisters who share the same passion as you! Your only responsibility is booking your flight and enjoying California!

 

 

— Included in the Cost   

Private Facebook Group - Once deposit has been paid, you will receive an invitation to our private Facebook group.  In the group, we answer all questions you may have regarding your upcoming trip.  The private Facebook group allows you to connect with others before you go, share travel tips, and maintain friendships when you return.

'Know Before You Go' Call - To ensure you are all ready for your trip, we will hold a conference call two weeks before the trip to go over our 'Know Before You Go' document. 

Airport TransfersImportant - Pickup and drop off from San Francisco International Airport beginning the morning of the day the trip starts.  We will organize (3) group transports for arrival into San Francisco and (2) group transports for departure from Napa Valley to San Francisco International airport.  Members will be provided with the transport times to schedule your flights around.  If you flight comes in later than the last transport you will be responsible or booking your own transport to our lodging location.  Our departure transports will depart from Napa Valley and drop off directly at San Francisco International airport.  We will only arrange (2) transports, the last transport will be at hotel check out time regardless of when the final flight departs.  

Local Transportation - All ground transportation to and from our activities.

Accommodations - 5 days, 4 nights at a 4 Star hotels in San Francisco and Napa Valley 

Activities – We will partake in several activities throughout our time in California including; private cable tour of San Francisco,Beach Blanket Babylon show, wine tasting at Brown down town wine tasting room (black owned), and 3 additional wine tastings at (1) black owned and (2) Hispanic owned wineries!

STS Gear - (2) STS T-Shirts (traditional black STS shirt & trip designed shirt)

Meals -  Daily breakfast, 1 lunch, 3 dinners included (does not include alcohol or desserts).

Accommodation - 5 days, 4 nights at a 4 Star hotel located in both Napa Valley and San Francisco.

Napa Valley: 

 

Each double room includes: two twin size beds, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi. 

Each single room includes: one queen size bed, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi

Amenities: Courtesy cruiser bicycles, onsite restaurant and bar, fitness center, in suite massages at an additional charge.

San Francisco: 

 

Each double room includes: two full size beds, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi. 

Each single room includes: one queen size bed, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi

Amenities: Dramatic architecture, panoramic views and a waterfront setting in the Embarcadero district. An unbeatable location across from the iconic Ferry Building.

Shared Double Room - $2,195 per person

Deposit Required - $275 per person; 8 Monthly Payments $240

Single Room - $2,795 per person

Deposit Required - $355 per person; 9 Monthly Payments - $305

Non-refundable* deposit due to guarantee booking. 
*Deposit will be refunded if requested 24 hours after booking.
 

— Payment Terms - Trip closes for bookings on September 15, 2018
 

Full Payment Special - $100 off total cost if full payment is made on 6/30/18 - $2,095 per person for shared double room; $2,695 for single room

Pay Remaining Balance over 8-month period (due on the 15th of each month regardless of when deposit is made) - Monthly payment is total cost of $2,195 double occupancy ($2,795 single occupancy) minus trip deposit dividend by 8. Payments are due on the 15th of each month regardless of when deposit is made.  Payments must be made on time.

A $75 late charge will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period.  Missed payments will be applied to the next month plus the $75 late fee. Trip will be automatically cancelled after two missed payments.  No refund of deposit or payments will be provided to a trip cancelled due to missed payments. 

Your trip must be paid in full by 3/15/19. Please contact us if you are having difficulties making your payment.

 

— Refund Policy - Updated 
24 hour cancellation.  
Deposit will be refunded upon request 24 hours after trip has been booked. 

Non-refundable deposit due to guarantee booking.

Full refunds minus the nonrefundable deposit will be given up until September 15, 2018.  After September 15, 2018, there will be no refunds.  

Transfers to Future Trips - If you request to cancel your trip, the trip deposit can be used toward a future Sisters Traveling Solo trip that you are not currently making payments.  Transfer request must be received via email only at the following address sisterstravelingsolo@gmail.com before December 15, 2018 (11:59 pm eastern standard time). Trip transfer request not received via email will not be accepted. After December 15, 2018 (11:59 pm eastern standard time) trip deposit cannot  be transferred to another Sisters Traveling Solo trip.

If your trip is cancelled due to missed payments, you cannot apply the deposit to any future Sisters Traveling Solo trips no matter when the trip was cancelled.

Transfers to Other Members - You cannot transfer a Sisters Traveling Solo trip to anyone without prior approval by Sisters Traveling Solo.  Transfer request will only be accepted and communicated via email at info@sisterstravelingsolo.com.  Only trips that are 100% paid can be transferred to another member.  You are responsible for coordinating transfer with other member. Last day to transfer is May 15, 2019 (11:59 pm eastern standard time). We will not accept any request for transfer after May15, 2019 (11:59 pm eastern standard time); no exceptions.

 

We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance in case you have to cancel your trip so that if you have to cancel, your travel insurance policy can reimburse you.

Flights - Flight or transportation to or from San Francisco International Airport


Local Transport – Outside of the organized activities.


Meals – dinner on 4th, 24th; lunch on 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th; no alcoholic beverages or desserts are included in any of the meals.


Visas - Any travel visas that may required based on Country of residency


Insurance – Travel or health insurance.


Souvenirs - Cost of souvenirs.


Gratuity - for Guides, Drivers, Cooks, Staff, or Waiters. 


Tours/Excursions - Outside of the organized tours we will assist you in booking any additional tours you would like to arrange. 4th of July firework show not included; but we are staying within walking distance of Pier 39.


Additional Hotel Cost – Outside of what has already been arranged by Sisters Traveling Solo (STS).

Travel Insurance - Travel insurance can be obtained when you purchase your flight.  You will be asked to show proof of travel insurance a month before we depart.  A minimum of $250,000 in travel insurance is REQUIRED. Travel insurance can be obtain when you purchase your flight or with World Nomad.

Failure to provide required information 1 month before trip departure date is cause for forfeit of trip without any refunds.  Sisters Traveling Solo will not travel with or include anyone in trip activities.
