HOW MUCH ARE SISTERS TRAVELING SOLO TRIPS COMPARED TO OTHER GROUP TRIPS?

Sisters Traveling Solo trips are tailored to be affordable while still providing exceptional travel experiences.  Depending on the size of the group, there will be 1 to 2 Staff members who attend each of our trips.  This ensures that your money goes directly towards making your trip the best it can be.


Before booking with us we encourage you  to compare our trip cost, trip details, lodging options, and excursions to other companies to see how we rank on the scale of affordability.


All lodging is hand-picked, and activities are based on our experiences in each of the selected destinations. We want to ensure that you get the most out of your trip.


Our payment plans provide you with the opportunity to spread the trip cost across multiple months.  Trip prices will not increase depending on when you book, and we always offer an early bird booking discount.

 

 

CAN ANYONE COME ON A TRIP?

 

Our trips are currently for Sisters Traveling Solo members only.  If you are interested in joining one of trips, simply click the logo below to request access to our Facebook group. 

 

 

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE IS TRIP INFORMATION PROVIDED?


We do our best to share a save the date a year before each trip departure date.  Shortly after the save the date, we post details about the trip within our Facebook group and on our website.  These details include trip cost, payment options, and excursions.  Booking details are only shared with members within our Facebook group.
 

 

DO TRIP SCHEDULES OR ACTIVITIES EVER CHANGE AFTER MY BOOKING?


Activities may change but we will do our best to ensure that does not happen.  If does, we will replace that activity with something similar if the weather and other factors permit.

 

 

WILL I HAVE TIME TO EXPLORE ON MY OWN?

 

Yes, on all of our trips there will be a free day for members to explore on their own.  Being a solo traveling group we understand the importance of having time alone in a destination to explore.  You are also welcome to opt out of any of the activities you do not want to partake in.  This is your trip, we want you to enjoy it how you want.

 

 

THIS IS A SOLO TRAVELING GROUP, WHY GROUP TRIPS?

 

As  solo travelers we understand that sometimes we need to get away by ourselves.  But there are also the times where we want to be amongst other travelers who we can relate to,.  Who better to get away with than your Sisters?


Our average group size is about 10 Sisters.  Keeping our trip numbers low provides you with the opportunity to connect with the people you meet without feeling like you’re just a face in a crowd.  It's small enough to make you feel like you’re exploring a destination independently, but big enough to create a good social vibe.  Group size will vary depending on our destination.

 

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ANYONE TO GO WITH?

 

For our trips that are double occupancy, we pair you with a Sister in our Sisters Traveling Solo Facebook. 

 

 

DO I BOOK MY OWN FLIGHT?

 

Yes, you are responsible for booking your own flight.  Sisters Traveling Solo will assist you with finding flight deals for our chosen destination once your deposit have been paid.

 

 

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?

Deposits are non refundable and payments are refundable up until the date stated in the trip details. If you cancel your trip, your deposit can be applied towards a future Sisters Traveling Solo trip. If Sisters Traveling Solo cancels the trip, you will be fully refunded the deposit and any payments you have made towards the trip.

 

 

DO YOU OFFER TRANSFERS?

Yes, up until the specified date listed in the trip details. If you cancel your trip, you have the option of transferring your spot on the trip to another Sisters Traveling Solo member. You will be responsible for coordinating all details and payment arrangements with that member.  

 

 

WILL I BE SAFE?

Your safety is our number one concern.  We will not travel to any destination that deemed unsafe.  A Sisters Traveling Solo Staff Member scouts all locations in advance to ensure safe conditions for our Members.

 

 

WHAT INSURANCE IS REQUIRED?

Travel medical insurance is required. Proof of insurance will need to be provided one month before the trip departure date.  The minimum insurance policy coverage required for medical emergency evacuation and repatriation is $200,000 (US).  We will confirm that all travelers have insurance before departing. 


Failure to provide accurate proof of insurance prior to attending our trips will result in cancellation without refund of deposit or payments made.

 

DO I NEED A VISA TO TRAVEL?

Depending on the destination you will need a visit. Sisters Traveling Solo will alert you if a visit is needed for our selected destination.
