There is no place quite like Bryce Canyon National Park. Hoodoos (odd-shaped pillars of rock left standing from the forces of erosion) can be found on every continent, but Bryce has the largest collection in the world! Descriptions fail to describe it. Photographs do not do it justice. Zion, Utah’s oldest national park, is no less astounding, what with deep canyons, emerald pools, cascading waterfalls, and scenic sandstone that will reflect every hue you can think of on the stage of a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
So without a doubt, we look forward to glamping in the backyard of these two American treasures! For those unfamiliar with the term, "glamping" means luxury or glamorous camping. That means we plan to do this outdoors-oriented camping trip with all the class, style, and comfort of indoor accommodations!

— Cost
All costs are on tent-sharing, double-occupancy basis. However, a single tent can be booked for the supplemental cost.
$1,689 per person Suite Tent (2 Tents Available or 4 People)
Details: Suite tent with one king-sized bed and private, en suite bathroom. Includes free-standing, roll-back bath tub, hot shower, sink, flushing toilet, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, separate lounge area with a sofa bed, wood floor stretching out to a private patio with deck lounge chairs, and a secluded, more sheltered location with the best views at the camp.
$1,577 per person Star-Gazer Tent (1 Tent Available or 2 People)
Details: One Star-Gazer tent with one king-sized bed and private, en suite bathroom. Includes hot shower, sink, flushing toilet, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, wood floor stretching out to a private patio with deck lounge chairs, and a superior uninterrupted view with a night-sky viewing window above the bed to star-gaze at night.
$1,531 per person Deluxe Tent (7 Tents Available or 14 People)
Details: Deluxe tent with one king-sized bed and private, en suite bathroom. Includes hot shower, sink, flushing toilet, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, wood floor stretching out to a private patio with deck lounge chairs, and a superior uninterrupted view (7 deluxe tents available).
Cost Includes: Accommodations, Transportation to/from St. George Regional Airport, 2 Full Day Tours of Bryce and Zion National Parks, Lunch for both Tour Days, BBQ Cookout Dinner on Memorial Day.

After submitting your deposit, your next payments will be due according to the following schedule. Late payments are subject to late fees.

— Included in the Cost
Private Facebook Group - Once deposit has been paid, you will receive an invitation to our private Facebook group. In the group, we answer all questions you may have regarding your upcoming trip. The private Facebook group allows you to connect with others before you go, share travel tips, and maintain friendships when you return.
'Know Before You Go' Call - To ensure you are all ready for your trip, we will hold a conference call two weeks before the trip to go over our 'Know Before You Go' document.
Airport Transfers – We’ll arrange your airport pickup and drop off from St. George Airport. And coordinate with our drivers to get you and a few others from the airport to our hotel.
Local Transportation - All ground transportation to and from our scheduled tours.
Accommodations - This glamping camp in America’s gorgeous Southwest is located on 196 acres bordering Zion National Park in Utah. Just moments away from incredible trails, off the beaten path adventures, and spectacular views of the majestic red rocks that make Zion so famous. The camp seamlessly blends into its dramatic surroundings and the luxury tents offer guests the opportunity to enjoy Utah’s spectacular desert without giving up the comforts of home.
Activities – Memorial Day BBQ, Tours of both Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park
Tour of Zion National park which will include a visit to most scenic look-out points, geological formations, and hiking trails. Zion National park is surrounded by towering cliffs reaching over 3000+ ft (1000+ m) into the air. These are the tallest sandstone cliffs in the world.
We hike or walk on many of the trails in the park including Emerald Pools, Weeping Wall, The Narrows, Temple of Sinewava River Walk, Canyon Overlook, Angels Landing, and others.
Tour of Bryce Canyon where we will be introduced to the unique rock formations, known as hoodoos, as we travel through Red Canyon. We will walk along the rim between Sunrise and Sunset Points and possible down the Navajo or Queen Garden Loops.
*Option to add (your expense) Canyoneering, rock-climbing, mountain-biking, ATV-riding, kayaking, hot-air ballooning on your free day.

Meals - Lunch on both Zion and Bryce Tour dates and Memorial Day BBQ
STS Apparel – Each guest will be provided with a STS Towel and Mug.

Accommodation - 5 days, 4 nights at our Glamping location in Zion.
Room Type – Each tent has one king-sized bed and private, en suite bathroom. Includes hot shower, sink, flushing toilet, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, wood floor stretching out to a private patio with deck lounge chairs, and a superior uninterrupted view
Roommates – Tents will be shared amongst 2 members unless a single tent is requested. If there is a member you would like to room with let us know. If you do not have a roommate in mind, don't worry, we will match you up with another Sister.
— Trip Cost / Single Supplement Fee
Total Cost - $1,689 per person based for Suite Tent; $1,577 per person for Star Gazer; $1,531 per person for Deluxe Tents. All costs are on tent-sharing, double-occupancy basis. However, a single tent can be booked for the supplemental cost.
Supplement Fee - $600 for Deluxe Tent; $680 Star Gazer; $760 Suite to be added and divided evenly of members monthly payment. The payment will be calculated by taking the trip cost (after the deposit has been paid) plus the single supplement fee, dividend by 4.

Non-refundable deposit due to guarantee booking. If you cancel your trip your deposit can be applied to a future Sisters Traveling Solo (STS) trip or you can seek to find another STS member take your place up until the cut off transfer date. You will be responsible for coordinating the transfer with the other STS member.
Once transfer has been made amongst members, please email us at sisterstravelingsolo@gmail.com. Last day to transfer is 9/1/17. After 9/1/17 you will only be able to apply deposit towards a future STS trip.
— Payment Terms
Payment Plan Over 4-Month Period (September - December, 2017) - Monthly payment amount is calculated by taking the total cost minus the initial deposit divided by 4. Payments are due on the 1st of each month no matter when the deposit is made. Payments MUST be made on time.

October 1, 2017 – 2nd Payment of $335 (Suite); $312 (Star-Gazer); $303 (Deluxe)
November 1, 2017 – 3rd Payment of $335 (Suite); $312 (Star-Gazer); $303 (Deluxe)
December 1, 2017 – 4th Payment of $335 (Suite); $312 (Star-Gazer); $303 (Deluxe)
A $50 late charge will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period each month during the 5-month payment period. Missed payments will be applied to the next month plus the $50 late fee.
An automatic cancellation of your trip will be applied after two consecutive missed payments. Previous payments will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Deposit can be applied to a future STS trip.
Your trip must be paid in full by December 1, 2017. Please contact us if you are having difficulties making your payment.

Full refunds minus the nonrefundable $349 deposit for Suite Tent, $329 for Star Gazer Tent, $319 for Deluxe Tent will be given up until October 1, 2017.
After October 1, 2017, there will be no refunds.

Flights - Flight or transportation to or from St. George Airport.
Local Transport – Outside of the organized tours.
Meals – Lunches outside lunches of 2 Tour days. Dinner outside of Memorial day BBQ. No alcoholic beverages are included in any of the meals.
Insurance – Neither travel or health insurance are included, but all members are REQUIRED to show proof of travel insurance a month before trip departure date. Minimum travel coverage required is $250,000.
Souvenirs - Cost of souvenirs.
Gratuity - for Tour guides, Drivers, Hotel Staff, or Waiters.
Tours/Excursions - Outside of the organized tours we will assist you in booking any additional tours you would like to arrange.
Additional Hotel Cost – Outside of what has already been arranged by Sisters Traveling Solo (STS).

Travel Insurance - Travel Insurance is not provided but is REQUIRED to attend this trip. You will be asked to show proof of travel insurance a month before we depart for Utah. A minimum of $250,000 in travel insurance is REQUIRED. Travel insurance can be obtain when you purchase you flight or with World Nomad using the link below.
