What are Solo Getaways?

Our women’s solo trips to Zanzibar give you the freedom of not having to plan, the ability to connect with other Solo Sisters, and the ease of making monthly payments towards your desired vacation.

They provide a less structured itinerary, giving you more time to plan the extra excursions and activities you want. You will connect with other solo sisters during the activities included in your trip cost. The rest of the time is yours to enjoy solo. At any time during your trip can connect with any of the sisters on the trip for dinner, drinks, or just to lay poolside.

Single occupancy is the only available option for solo getaways. And although no STS Staff will be on the trip, rest assure that all "included" activities and transportation will be handled by our team.

Our day will start with a visit to a Spice farm, where you will learn all about the different spices and how they grow and taste. You will make your own spice mix.

STONE TOWN TOUR

enjoy a historical and slave tour that will immerse you in local Swahili culture as you travel back in time. Once your historical tour is done, you will head to the Seaweed farm. To learn the process of seaweed farming and meet the seaweed women.

Nungwi is the name of the village at the northern part of Zanzibar Island. This part of the trip mainly focuses on Cultural village visit of the Nungwi Village.

TOUR ITINERARY

ARRIVAL INTO ZANZIBAR

DAY 1

Arrive into Zanzibar airport (ZNZ), You will be met by one of our drivers, and transferred to our hotel for a short orientation. After check-in, take the rest of the afternoon at leisure rewinding from the long flight.

Note: Airport transfers are provided from 5 AM and end at 11 PM local time on October 10, 2021. Hotel check-in is 3 PM.

Airport transfers provided from 5 AM - 11 PM local time on Oct. 10, 2021. Hotel check-in is 3 PM. Departure airport transfer provided on Oct. 16, 2021 between 12 AM - 10 AM local time. Hotel check-out is 10 AM. STS does not arrange early-ins or late check-outs.

After the Seaweed experience, depart for the Rock Restaurant for a late lunch with the view of the Indian. Its fabulous food inspired by the natural resources, a twist of Zanzibar, and Italian love.
