Sisters Traveling Solo™ was created to empower Sisters to travel solo; to travel in general. Our mission is to connect, empower, inspire, and support Sisters.

Any member who is eligible to obtain a U.S. passport but are unable to obtain one due to financial hardship can sign up for our passport giveaway. Having an opportunity to get one for free, 100% funded by Sisters Traveling Solo.
WE SUPPORT SISTERS
by traveling responsibly
In 2017 we introduced our Cultural Experiences where we work with and give our dollars to local women. And in 2018 we introduced our Sisters Travel Magazine a platform that will allow our Sisters who blog access to a greater audience.

MEET FOUNDER COLE BANKS
Cole is helping to drive the travel culture for women with unmatched global travel experiences. The idea of Sisters Traveling Solo™ was sparked after Cole read an online post discouraging black women from traveling solo. As a woman of color, the post disturbed Banks who frequently travels around the world solo and she knew she was not alone. Her passion for traveling, solo experiences and wanting to help other sisters led to the creation of the Sisters Traveling Solo.
In 2018, Cole left her corporate job at The Coca-Cola Company to focus on Sisters Traveling Solo full-time when the company began booking more trips than she had vacation days to cover and she was no longer able to balance both. Now, her office can be anywhere she wants it to be as she continues connecting, empowering, inspiring and supporting sisters.
