On this trip you will not only cross off the Taj Mahal but you will also participate in one of the Worlds best celebrations/a bucket list item for any World traveler, Holi Festival!

Holi festival also know as "the festival of colors" or "the festival of love", celebrates the end of winter and the victory of good over evil. It takes place between late February and mid-March and lasts for one night (known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi) and the following day (Holi).

This trip is hosted by Sisters Traveling Solo LLC. Please note that you must be a member of our paid membership program or our Facebook group to join this trip. Membership will be verified after booking. Our trips are 21 years and up at the time of departure.

HOLI (TENTATIVE)

For centuries, festival of Holi has been uniting people across classes and sections. The message of Holi - Everyone comes together and celebrates the oneness of humanity.

TOUR ITINERARY

ARRIVAL INTO NEW DELHI

DAY 1

Upon arrival into Delhi International Airport (DEL), you will be transported via one of our group transfer times to our hotel. You will be met by one of our drivers, and transferred to our hotel for a short orientation.

After check-in, take the rest of the afternoon at leisure rewinding from the long flight.

In the evening enjoy dinner at one our hotel restaurants at your leisure.

Note: Airport transfers are provided from 5 AM and end at 11 PM local time on March 25, 2021. Hotel check-in is 3 PM.

*Meal will be buffet, (1) main course selection or preset menu. Includes (1) bottled water or bottled water for the table.

Airport transfers provided from 5 AM - 11 PM (local time) on the start date of the trip.

Departure airport transfer provided on the final date of the tour between 12 AM - 12 PM (local time).

DEPART FOR JAIPUR

DAY 2

Today after breakfast, we depart for Jaipur, a (5) hour drive (there will be stops) from Delhi. In the Afternoon arrive at Jaipur and check into our hotel. After checking in we will go shopping for our traditional outfits. The sari (often spelled "Saree"), is a garment traditionally worn in India. It can be an heirloom passed down through generations, or a purely functional garment worn everyday. It's seen on streets and runaways, and has influenced fashion designers across the world.

Later this evening we will get together for welcome dinner.
