Nairobi is the only Capital City in the world with a National Park. Made of open grass plains and scattered acacia bush, the park is home to Africa's Big five—Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard—as well as other hosts of wildlife like Zebras, Antelopes, Giraffes, wildebeest, baboons and birds.

If you are lucky, you will even get the chance to feed them. That’s how easy it is for you to mingle with nature when you visit Nairobi.

Visit a community youth center and interact with the local kids through dance. Donate to the school and sanitary napkin supply program.

MASAI TRIBE

According to Maasai history the Maasai tribe is originally from north-west Kenya, north of Lake Turkana in the lower Nile Valley. Later on, they migrated south and settled in the Great Rift Valley and the Dodoma and Mount Marsabit region.

TOUR ITINERARY

ARRIVAL INTO NAIROBI

DAY 1

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Collect your bags, then head to the driver pick-up area to find our driver. The driver will be holding a sign that says Sisters Traveling Solo.

After check-in, take the rest of the afternoon at leisure rewinding from the long flight.

Hotel Check-In

Hotel check-in is 3 PM. Hotel check-out is 11 AM. Sisters Traveling Solo cannot arrange or guarantee early-ins or late check-outs.

DAY 2

Today, after breakfast, starts your tour of Kenya!

You will visit the railway museum which carries a lot of history of birth of Nairobi, historic buildings including the parliament and Kenyatta mausoleum, national archives, uhuru park, the main streets of Nairobi with historic statues.
