Tour Coordinator

If you've got a passion for travel, then our Trip Coordinator role may be an ideal fit for you.  You must have some trip planning experience, enjoy travel, like people, be able to assist Trip Coordinator Lead in overseeing a group of 20 - 24 clients, be social, detail oriented, meet deadlines, be punctual, be a team player and have a willingness to learn. 

 

This role is ideal for anyone who wants to "work" for travel.  Your role will mainly consist of you providing on the ground customer service to our customers.  This role does not involve any aspect of planning our trips. 

​

Responsibilities:
 

- Assist in on the ground trip management

- Communicate any on the ground issues with trip Director

- Ensure that all trip activities run smoothly and on time

- Work with on the ground tour guides and local drivers to ensure trip schedule happen as listed on trip itinerary 

- Provide exceptional customer service during trips

- Address client issues and concerns on trip

- Respond quickly and proactively to client requests

- Utilize tools provided

- Continue ongoing training by Sisters Traveling Solo

- Market Sisters Traveling Solo all trips

- Report to and take the direction of STS Tour Director

- Host 2 meetups a year in your town

Requirements:

​

- Have attended at least (1) STS trip prior to applying to for this role

- Must be able to attend all assigned trips

- Must be punctual; by punctual we mean early.  

- Trip planning experience preferred  

- Current member of Sisters Traveling Solo  

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships

- Must be flexible and a problem solver

- Ability to promote and market to clients

- Ability to work with a team and under the instruction of our Tour Director 

- Social media skills a plus

- Love for travel or a desire to travel

- Ability to work with little supervision or oversight
- Must be available for a possible in person interview if required.

- Covered Hotel accommodations for the trip dates; occupancy double or single based on trip capacity. Trip coordinators are expected to arrive one day before clients

Notes:​

 

- Trip Coordinators are treated as Individual Contractors and are not full or part time STS Employees.

 

- We are not guaranteeing a set number of trips per year.  Trips you participate in can range from 1 to 4 a year.  Trips will range from 5 - 11 days; Coordinators must be available to travel for the entire duration of the trip.

- If you have difficulty get time off work this role is not ideal for you.  Once a trip is assigned to Trip Coordinator must be able to attend the trip. 

​

- Coordinators do not pick the locations assigned; assignments are made by companies Founder. 

​

- There is no pay in this role.  

​

- This role requires that you are on time.  By on time we mean early. 

​

- This trip is ideal for anyone who has flexibility and can quickly problem solve.   

 

- Trip survey's will be taken at the end of each trip to ensure that Trip Coordinator continues to meet company and position standards.

Customer Service Specialist

The Customer service specialist will provide ongoing customer service to members via our tripsupport website and all general business inquiries via our info@sisterstravelingsolo.com websites.

​

In addition, the customer service manager will managing and maintaining the membership list, on boarding of new members to our website forum, adding membership members to our Facebook group, maintaining and managing our rewards member list, sending our trip notifications, reminder, confirmation emails, answering all incoming emails, working with Directors and Founder to ensure all needed information is sent to customer, and any miscellaneous tasks needed to ensure excellent customer service is maintained. 

​

The Customer Service Manager will report directly to the Founder of Sisters Traveling Solo and indirectly to the Director of Hotel Operations and Director of Tour Operations.
